SSALI Program Only:

SSALI with Conditional Admission:

  • Copy of passport
  • Financial support or bank statement showing at least $10,880.00 USD
  • Original academic transcripts
    • UNDG degree- please submit high school and all university transcripts
    • GRAD degree- please submit all university transcripts


To apply, please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Fill out and submit this online application form (click the "Next" button below)
  • Step 2: Attach required documents when completing online application
  • Step 3: Submit Online Payment, including the $150 non-refundable application fee for SSALI after completing application (YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL APPLICATION FEE IS PAID)

After submitting your application and making your online payment, you will be notified if any additional information is needed.

Conditional Admissions/Eligibility SSU

Students who are offered conditional admission must submit a Cal State Apply application to a degree program upon achieving required proficiency in SSALI University Preparation Program (UPP). Students who complete the SSALI program may qualify for a TOEFL waiver that can be used at Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College.

Travel Information

Transportation From San Francisco International Airport

SSALI is located about 50 miles (80km) north of San Francisco. Transportation to Rohnert Park is either by bus or private airport pick-up.

Direct bus service is available from San Francisco Airport to Rohnert Park. The buses leave the airport every hour, 5:30 AM - 12:30 AM. T

Airport pick-up service is also possible through UBER, LYFT or Taxi.  Cost will be around $100.00.  Please let us know your arrival information.
